Docs, Crocs, and Frocks for the Welcome House

On August 17th, Pastor Renee will be swimming one mile to help raise money for the Welcome House in Bismarck.

Welcome House is a faith-based agency serving homeless individuals and families in the Bismarck/Mandan area.  Welcome House provides short-term shelter, assistance in obtaining permanent housing and a variety of supportive services.  Welcome House’s emphasis is on providing extensive case management and other supportive services for up to three years to help clients attain and retain permanent housing.  Welcome House fills a gap in the community by serving homeless that would not otherwise receive shelter, including two-parent families, families headed by single fathers, and families with teenage males. –

The competition is heating up between the Doctors, Lawyers and Clergy to see who can raise the most money for Welcome House.  Pastor Renee is on a team with seven other clergy from the Bismarck Mandan area who will all be in an event: running 5 miles, biking 20 miles, walking 3 miles, or swimming one mile.  To get an up-date on how much money has been raised and to sponsor Pastor Renee in her swim, visit
